We cater to 1000's of children per day within Childcare.
Everyday we experience children with allergies & issues with
ranging from food intolerances to anaphylaxis. We assign significant
resources to allergy control from our Qualified Chefs and Food
Safety Managers and dedicated work areas, and cross contamination
controls purely for this purpose. e.g we have separate rooms and
processes ranging from pre-batch (raw material), preparation,
cooking, chilling to meal packing in hermetically sealed meal
trays.
Parents should be assured that we will remain ever vigilant so
KidCater meals comply with our allergen testing controls.

I use KidiCater if my staff are on holiday ?
We can organise with you to provide meals when staff are away
holiday. Please contact us to arrange.
Are
meals tested for food safety?
Yes, we regularly have our meals microbiologically tested for
food safety by NZ Labs. Our QA Manager would be happy to discuss
any concerns you may have.
Who
audits KidiCater for food safety?
Our appointed Food Safety Auditors are SGS International, they
perform regular audits of our facility, processes, HACCP controls,
our Micobiological testing results, staff and procedures.
What
food safety standards does KidiCater met?
We are audited and meet compliance with NZFSA Standards, WQA
Standards and HACCP requirements.
What
does the service cost?
- KidiCater ™ supply Childcare Centres with a regular meal
for a fixed cost per child per day.
- Allergy controlled meals and baby foods are seperately priced
and supplied to order..
- KidiCater ™ prepare a quote for contract delivery following
analysis of your centres needs.
- Typically we are cheaper than paying for preparation labour
and groceries.
- Your operation will benefit from our fixed cost service and
you won't blow that budget
Is
there a contracted term?
Although we dont typically require a fixed term contract we do
prefer a minumum of a 3month service period. We are happy to supply
on a trail basis, obviously with an economic interest before we
can commit additional production and meal packing staff resources
to an ongoing supply basis.
